The issue was previously attributed to the Teutonic Order, but the research of Professor Borys Paszkiewicz allowed us to determine that it was not a Prussian issue, but most likely a Polish one. These coins are dated to the 2. half of the 13th century, and appeared in classic Polish bracteate hoards, including the hoard from Wieleń.
