Plate or bowl made in 1907 to celebrate the 650th anniversary of St. Elizabeth's Church in Breslau.
It is decorated on both sides with anniversary inscriptions in German Gothic.
The Bishop of Breslau at that time was Cardinal Jerzy Kopp.
The Basilica of St. Elizabeth in Breslau was consecrated on 19.11.1257 by the Bishop of Breslau, Thomas I (1232-1268) from the Rawicz family. The basilica was founded at the beginning of the 15th century by Boleslaw III the Generous, the prince of Liegnitz, Brieg and Breslau. In 1525, the church was transferred to the Evangelicals, and since 1946 it has been a Catholic garrison church.
