The front features a portrait of President Kārlis Ulmanis, surrounded by a multicoloured guilloche with rich ornamentation emphasizing the prestige of the issue. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Latvia with the symbolic Sun, lion and griffin, enclosed within a decorative classical frame with denominations in the corners. The design, created by the London printer De La Rue & Co LTD., stands out for its meticulous detail and the aesthetics characteristic of the finest issues of the period.
Minor imperfections at the corners without affecting the printed field. Small creases in the paper and traces of past adhesion, but without washing and pressing.
