Prussian thaler struck at the Berlin mint in 1795 under Friedrich Wilhelm II.
Featuring the ruler’s portrait and the heraldic Prussian eagle supported by wild men, this issue represents one of the most recognizable taler types of the late 18th century. Such coins formed the backbone of the Prussian monetary system.
