Issue of a Patagon struck at the Antwerp mint under the reign of Archdukes Albert VII and Isabella Clara Eugenia, governors of the Spanish Netherlands.
These coins were struck during the rule of Albert and Isabella (1599–1621), symbolising their autonomous administration of the Low Countries on behalf of the King of Spain.
