Set of two badges from the Third Reich period:
- small aviation-style badge with a swastika in the center, typical for paramilitary and youth organizations in the 1930s.
- commemorative festival badge (Festabzeichen), made of base metal and mounted on a burgundy textile rosette. It depicts a male figure with shields inscribed with initials. At the bottom, the inscription Starnberg (a town in Bavaria) indicates that the badge was issued for a local event (such as a rally, party celebration, or paramilitary gathering).
Such badges were mass-produced from non-precious metal and often mounted on fabric rosettes. They served as souvenirs or entry tokens for events organized by the NSDAP and its affiliated organizations (HJ, SA, NSFK).
