Variety with a globe cross pointing to the right edge of the base of the third V in the obverse legend, with three rings of armour on the shoulder, a massive bust of the king and with the initials EC on the reverse of Ernst Dietrich Croll, mintmaster in Leipzig in the years 1753-1763, with dot next to initials EC, next to denomination 18 and after date 1754.
Highly unusual and scarce mint error, the coin was struck with inverted dies, rotated by half a turn.
Attractive coin in about uncirculated condition. Graded AU50 by NGC.
