A very rare trial print of the Bank of Poland note prepared in exile in 1939, which was never put into circulation.
The piece bears no serial number or series designation, printed on cream paper without a watermark. A characteristic feature is the absence of the printer’s imprint on both the obverse and reverse.
The note shows a light fold in the unprinted margin, without a crease visible against the light. Minor handling marks in the field, never washed or pressed.
A very interesting and desirable piece, important for collectors of World War II banknotes and émigré issues.
