Two 1936 pieces (Quadriga type) show King Victor Emmanuel III on the obverse with the legend VITTORIO EMANVELE III RE IMP.; the reverse depicts Italia seated in a four-horse chariot holding an olive branch and sceptre, with the inscription ITALIA and the value L. 20. The 1928 piece (Lion and Fasces type) bears a helmeted bust of the king on the obverse, while the reverse features a fasces with a lion’s head and the motto Meglio vivere un giorno da leone che cent’anni da pecora beside the value L. 20.
