Set of ten 10-Mark silver coins dated 1972-2001, commemorating the XX Olympic Games in Munich, Berlin’s 750th anniversary (2 pcs), the Brandenburg Gate as a symbol of reunification (2 pcs), the German Resistance of 20 July 1944, the rebuilding of Dresden’s Frauenkirche, the 800th anniversary of the Teutonic Order, Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa and the bicentenary of composer Albert Lortzing. Designed by leading German medallists – including Reinhart Heinsdorff, Erich Ott and Paul Effert – and struck by the state mints of Berlin (A), Munich (D), Stuttgart (F), Karlsruhe (G) and Hamburg (J).
