Medal of the Independence Action in Krakau in 1914. On the obverse, an image of the Mother of God with the Child, below the designer's signature WILK, in the rim an inscription: KRÓLOWO KORONY POLSKIEJ W TOBIE NADZIEJA NASZA MCMXIV; on the reverse, a crowned wreath of thorns and laurel, inside there is a view of Wawel, over which an eagle rises to break its chains. He was minted in Vienna by the Princely-Bishop Committee in Krakau, designer Józef Wilk, brass.
