One of the greatest numismatic rarities from the communist period, a technological sample preserved in mint condition.
Relief in perfect condition, mint luster and natural patina highlight the uniqueness of this item.
This is an unissued two-zloty coin with a reverse design by Jozef Markiewicz-Nieszcz (signed JM-N under the inscription ZŁOTE). This design uses a different wreath arrangement and a different form of writing the denomination and the word "ZŁOTE" than the version by W. Kowalik that went into circulation.
The piece comes from an extremely limited edition of only 30 pieces.
It appears on the collector's market extremely rarely in the archives of Polish auction houses only two pieces have been recorded so far.
For a long time it remained outside the studies in the domestic numismatic literature, which further emphasizes its unique character.
