Very interesting medal of Napoleon Bonaparte, minted on the occasion of the conquest of Silesia in 1807.

Medal by F. Andrieu, signed.

Mint luster on both sides.


Obverse: bust of the ruler in a laurel wreath, right, below the signature ANDRIEU F, DENON DIR

NAPOLEON EMP ET ROI

Reverse: Victoria seated left, engraving a tablet with a sword, Pax standing behind her, on the left a column composed of seven mural crowns on which the names GLATZ, KOSEL, NEISSE, SCWEIDNITZ, BRIEG, BRESLAW, GLOGAW, in the section CONQUÊTE DE LA SILESIE/ MDCCCVII, on the left side the signature ANDRIEU F.
