Prof. Nicolaus Zwetnow (1929-2016), was a Norwegian Olympian in sport shooting. He participated in the 1960 Summer Olympics and the 1964 Summer Olympics.
He studied medicine at the University of Oslo in 1953, and received his MD degree in Gothenburgin 1970 and was recognized as a specialist in neurosurgery. He worked at Sahlgrenska and Karolinska hospitals in Sweden, until 1999, after which he retired. He was a professor of medicine at the University of Oslo. He was also a skilled balalaika player, attending the Norwegian Academy of Music, and a polyglot who spoke ten languages.
