Very rare Silesian parvus, not recorded in the literature, to which we know of no analogy among the kwartniks. The Silesian parvus were probably struck with the kwartnik stamps on smaller discs and are very rare.
The presented parvus was probably minted in the Duchy of Głogów during the times of Henry III or his sons, and was most probably minted in Wołów.

Obverse: Eagle with a concave breast band, three feathers in each wing and clearly marked paws, with the head turned to the right (heraldically)
Reverse: six-pointed star with a point in the center and points between the arms.

Silesian parvuses were introduced into circulation after the kwartnik reform in Silesia, which was most likely carried out in the 1290s. They were a fractional coin to kwartniks, according to current research the ratio of the nominal value of kwartniks and parvuses was most likely 1:6 and 1:4, and the differences could have resulted from the place where the coins were minted.
