A very rare silver medal, featuring the head of Alexander the Great on the obverse and a striking reverse scene – a creature with four wings and four leopard heads, directly referencing the biblical symbolism from the Book of Daniel 7:6: “After this I looked, and behold, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back. And the beast had four heads, and dominion was given to it.”
An item of extreme rarity – among available auction archives, only one example has been traced, recorded in a Fritz Rudolf Künker auction in 1999.
Good detail legibility, enhancing the appeal of this unique issue.
A medal of extraordinary rarity, an exceptional opportunity for collectors of biblical symbolism.
