Bank Polski (La Banque de Pologne)
A promissory note (Première Lettre de Change) issued in Warsaw on December 23, 1867 for the sum of 26,000 florins of Austrian currency (26,000 Rhine zlotys).
Original handwritten signature of Michal Rostafinski on the promissory note. Rostafinski was the Director of the Bank of Poland in 1865-1874, and a facsimile of his signature can be found on the silver rubles of the 1866 issue.
