A very rare, fully completed proof banknote by Waclaw Borowski.
The design is based on a drawing of 100 zlotys of issue 1947 but made in a different blue color scheme.
The banknote was originally intended to be put into circulation in 1950, but this idea was eventually abandoned.
Only zero-numbered proofs and AA-series designs appear on the market.
The piece on offer is an acceptance design without overprints.
The banknote bears a PMG certificate with a PMG 58 rating.
Hand trimmed, right margin definitely wider, which is common for acceptances from 1947-1948.
Glue residue on the reverse. Vertical fracture in the unprinted field, probably occurring throughout the sheet.
A unique design from the communist era that should grace any advanced collection of Polish banknotes.
