"The Karl Ludwig Galician Railway (German: k.k.priv. Galizische Carl Ludwig-Bahn, CLB) - a railroad system in Galicia (Austria-Hungary) built between 1856 and 1861 under the administration of Leon Sapieha (the concession to build the railroad was finally granted by Franz Joseph on April 7, 1858). It was developed until 1892 by the C.K. Privileged Joint Stock Society of the Galician Charles Louis Railway - privately owned (concessionaire of subsequent concessions issued in 1867, 1883 and 1886). The line ran from west to east along the outer northern arc of the Carpathian Mountains. The value of the authorized capital in 1862 was 73.7 million crowns. 30 years later, in 1891, the value of the capital was estimated at 186 million crowns." - WIKIPEDIA
