An interesting school badge associated with pre-war Lviv.
The badge is designed in the form of an owl with broadly spread wings, depicted facing forward and perched on a stylized branch. The plumage is carefully rendered, with clearly defined details of the head and talons.
Since antiquity, the owl has been associated with wisdom, knowledge and learning, and was a motif frequently used in the symbolism of educational institutions, schools and academic circles. Its presence on the badge indicates an association with the school or educational community of Lviv.
Fastening in the form of three tendrils.
