Rare thaler of the youngest son of Augustus III the Saxon.
Clement was appointed Archbishop of Trier and Bishop of Augsburg on February 10, 1768. During this period he oversaw the production of coins, both silver and gold. Some of these coins, including the presented thaler, feature the coats of arms of Poland and Lithuania.
